Are you guys mobile mechanics?

A: No, we perform all work at our location in NW Austin. People sometimes confuse “mobile mechanic” with our pick-up and delivery concierge service.

You will actually pick up my car and deliver it back to me?

A: Yes! As long as you are in the Austin metroplex area from Georgetown to Kyle, we will come pick up your vehicle, service it and bring it back to you, oftentimes the same day!

What is the charge for the pick-up and delivery?

A: Nothing, it’s free!

When I drop my car off, do you have a shuttle to take me my office?

A: Absolutely! We are happy to take you where you need to go or if we have one available, you can drive one of our free loaner vehicles! Loaners are provided free* of charge as long as we have approved work on your vehicle. *Please replace the gas you use.

Do you work on commercial box trucks?

A: No, our lifts are weight rated for consumer type vehicles including larger heavy duty diesel trucks like the Ford F350, RAM 3500 and GMC 3500.

Do you charge a diagnostic fee?

A: Yes, we believe in price transparency so our customers know what they are paying for and why. Other shops may say they “don’t charge one” or that they will “waive it” if you do the repair. Today’s vehicles are more complex and sophisticated and even a seemingly simple issue like headlights not working might mean a simple bulb replacement, however what if you replace the bulb(s) and they still don’t work? It could be the switch, the body control module, the battery junction box, or the ballast. It’s always better to know what the actual problem is before you throw parts at it.

What if my car is still under the dealership extended warranty?

A: No problem! We can do the work under your warranty.

Do you work on hybrids?

A: Absolutely!

Do you offer towing service?

A: No, but we do have a preferred towing service. That Towing Guy 512-698-7327 – ask for Terry. If your vehicle is under our warranty, then a tow service will be provided by TechNet Professional Services.

Do you do body work?

A: No, we only do the mechanical work and we are happy to refer you to a quality body shop if you need.

Do you do State Inspections?

A: No and yes, we are not a state inspection facility but we have two very close by. If we are servicing your vehicle and it needs the inspection, we are happy to get it done while we have it.

What kind of payments do you accept?

A: Cash, check, credit, debit, and financing through Synchrony Car Care.
